It's Not Too Late to Save Hampshire College
Hampshire College’s course in survival was the top story in the Boston Globe print edition on February 16, 2026. The Globe published two letters in response, the first from non-Hampshire presidents of the 5 College Consortium and my letter below that. The points I stress are that Hampshire increased enrollment by 79% from 2022-2024 and they can turnaround the 2025 dip if they rebuild admissions staffing levels.
